I have been on a stand under things and take pictures kick lately and this is one such photo. As I wandered around campus, I noticed that the trees in the courtyard all looked like spring rather than winter so I took a few shots.

January in Southern California
So, I had taken a picture at school of the mishmash of microphones that I have in the Computer Lab. It wasn't terribly artistic. As I drove home, I noticed the clouds moving in and the way the sun was lighting up the palm trees against the sky. That decided it; I needed to walk down the street and capture that for my photo of the day.
So here it is - just another January day in Southern California with a high in the mid 60s! Ah, that's why I live here.
