January in Southern California

So, I had taken a picture at school of the mishmash of microphones that I have in the Computer Lab. It wasn't terribly artistic. As I drove home, I noticed the clouds moving in and the way the sun was lighting up the palm trees against the sky. That decided it; I needed to walk down the street and capture that for my photo of the day.

So here it is - just another January day in Southern California with a high in the mid 60s! Ah, that's why I live here.

Great shot. The lighting is nice. We're freezing over here at 62. LOL

I found you on the flickr 365/2011 group. I live in SoCal too. We have some great weather here, huh! Especially compared to the rest of the country. :) http://throughaphotographerseyes.blogspot.com/

We definitely do though it's been a tad chilly for me. Can't complain though when I have a lot of friends back east in really cold weather.
